Description: Quilted Jackets are so much fun. Why not take a plain hoodie, and turn it into a quilted jacket, with a zipper! You will be able to repurpose an old quilt top, or use a quilt top you have already pieced. We will then add it to a hoodie (color of your choice) and quilt it to make your jacket. Nice and warm, and cozy

Supply List: BSK, Sewing Machine, matching threads, fabric scraps for applique, wool scraps, embroidery floss, walking foot. Hand needles and thread for applique and embroidery. Bring any kind of embellishment that you would like. I will give you some ideas in the pre class instructions
Kit Items: Charming Hoodie Sweatshirt Jacket pattern by J Minnis Designs, hoodie sweatshirt 1 size larger than what you wear old quilt top, or a quilt top you wish to cut apart, sewing machine, rotary cutter, long ruler, scissors, BSK, 1/2 yd SF 101 interfacing, separating zipper (at least 26", depending on the size you make) 1 roll Stitch Witchery, 1/4 yd fleece (same color as your sweatshirt), 1 pkg single fold bias tape. 2/3 yd coordinating cotton fabric for facings and pocket lining. thread to match your quilt, marking pen
