Description: Come join Ruth Davis in creating this beautiful little wall-hanging, featuring a Western Screech Owl. Your kit will include a pre-drawn owl on muslin with eyes and beak pre-fused and stitched. This fabulous technique was created by our own Kathy Porter! The class will exchange 1/4 inch or less strips of brown fabrics that we will use in making our feathers on the owl. After the owl is created, we will fuse our tree onto the background and learn how to add the owl. This is such a fun class!!! Learn all about the Western Screech Owl by the Bird Nerd herself! This class includes machine piecing, and hand applique Students will use cut fabric strips and glue stick, and will exchange strips to create 3 dimensional owl wall hanging.
