Description: Sashiko is a striking traditional Japanese embroidery style which is relaxing, inexpensive and easy to master. You will learn about its origin and how to draft out and stitch the grid-based designs. After practicing the unique stitching style, we will make 6 blocks which can be sewn into coasters, pin cushions, quilt blocks, etc. Come learn this time honored art form and see how it could bring something new to your quilting projects!
