Description:  Create a lovely wall-hanging to brighten any room with these foolproof patterns as you begin a journey into making collage quilts! This course will give you the confidence to collage and is perfect for those just getting started.

In this class, we will learn:
•The application of color theory to fabric selection, elevating collage work to the next level
•Use Emily’s unique “Foundation Panel” method
•The best products to ensure your enjoyment through the process
•Methods for quilting and hanging the finished project

While most students won’t complete the project in this one-day class, they should have a firm grasp of the method and make enough progress that they will have the confidence to finish on their own.

Supply List:  • Pattern purchased from CollageQuilter.com • 6” fabric scissors
• Pins • Lite Steam a Seam 2 fusible web • Work surface (a wool pressing mat or piece of foam core covered in felt is ideal)
•Wide assortment of fabric in colors of your choice, including light, medium and dark in each color.  The more fabric you bring to incorporate into the collage, the easier your project will be to execute.
(Most new students to collage don’t anticipate the wide variety of fabric required to make a successful piece and don’t bring enough fabric, so I always bring fabric for sale)
