Member Price - $120
Non-Member Price - $130
Description: Cock-a-Doodle-Doo! Enter a whole new world of creative expression with fabric as you join Emily Taylor in making one or more of these handsome roosters.
In this class, you’ll learn:
• The application of color theory to fabric selection, elevating collage work to the next level
• Emily’s unique “Parchment Pressing” method, as well as her quick time-saving tricks
• The best products to ensure your enjoyment through the process.
This one-day class is excellent for any level. Students can choose to purchase a single rooster kit (which contains fabric for collage, background panel, and a packet of Steam a Seam*) or the complete quilt kit, (which includes the patterns and set of six background panels, border, binding and backing fabric, AND collage fabric for all six roosters). Most students will complete one rooster in class, and they should have a firm grasp of the method and make enough progress that they will have the confidence to finish on their own. The class will include a one-hour lecture on color theory which is an important foundation for success with selecting fabric for collage.
