2026 Community Basic Intro to Quilting 

In keeping with the Utah Quilt Guild motto: To promote, encourage and preserve the art of quilt making in Utah, we offer a FREE BASIC Introductory Beginners Class.  Come invite your friends to join this FREE introductory class and be introduced to the Wonderful World of Quilting.

This is a great opportunity to introduce your friend(s) to the "Wonderful World of Quilting".  It's for that friend that always says, "I wish I could do that".

A free class for your friend or family. A chance to enjoy each other's company and just have a darn good time. An adult is required for children under 10 to be in attendance.

Some very basic information will be shared to help understand the language of quilters, like fat quarter which is not part of your anatomy or a burger at McDonalds.

All supplies are provided. We will have tools to try out, handouts, fabric and patterns. A machine is not required but an opportunity to sew on a few machines will be available (we can take turns). Please take advantage of this FREE opportunity.

This is a free event Saturday morning 8:30-11:30am October 10.
