If you are not a current member of the Utah Quilt Guild, go to the home page and click the new member signup tab in the top banner. If you might be a member, try logging on, if you don’t remember your password click on the Login support link and see if you can reset your password. If your membership has expired, renew before you start your registration, it will save you a lot of money.

What is a Sewcial Table?
What is a Sewcial Table?

The Sewcial Tables are set up sort of like a retreat. You rent space at a table (a 6-foot table for individuals, or share and 8-foot table with a friend) This is a place where you can work all week. You can leave stuff at your table while you are at class, or at a dining event, or at the vendor mall or looking at the beautiful quilts. You get to work on whatever projects you want to work on with no pressure to start anything new.

I’ve never been to Quilt Fest before, what’s a good place to start without getting overwhelmed?

If you have never been to Quilt Fest, but want to join in the fun for the week, get a table in the Sewcial Room (for the week) and purchase the full set of meals. This way you can work on projects that you have that are already underway, and join in the fun at the dining events – where there are lots of prizes, great speakers, and fellow quilters to share stories with at your table.

I already registered, but I want to add more? How do I do it?

If you have already registered for Quilt Fest, and paid your admission fee, return to the event registration page, and this time, when asked if you a member or a non-member or if you’ve pre-paid your admission fee – select the pre-paid admission fee option, then you can continue to register for classes or the sewcial room or special presentations and dining events. Make sure you only select things that were not part of your initial registration, as you’ll be charged for everything you add to your cart.

Do I have to get an admission ticket if I just want to walk around?

If you are just going to look at the vendors, then you don’t need an admission ticket. But if you are wanting to participate in any class or lecture or even going to a special presentation and dining event, then you need to purchase an event admission ($40 for members, $80 for non-members) ticket. If you only want to see the vendors and quilt show, then those admission tickets are $5 if purchased prior to the event, and will be $10 at the door.

Can I buy food at the Quilt Fest?
Can I buy food at the Quilt Fest?

At Quilt Fest we have special presentations with our dining events. So if you are not registered for those, then you would need to purchase food at an outside vendor location. There is a restaurant in the Hilton Garden Inn, there are restaurants across the parking lot, and there are several restaurants and fast food restaurants within a few blocks of the Davis Conference Center. Outside food needs to be consumed outside of the Davis Conference Center.
