Description:
We’re looking for a co-chair to work alongside current president Becky Tesch. This role is all about coordination and connection. Responsibilities include:
- Helping plan the quilt show itinerary – 6-9 shows throughout February – September of 2027.
- Working with Becky to identify possible venues
- Contacting venues and arranging show dates
- Creating and maintaining the show calendar
- Working with the Regional Liaisons to transport quilts to venues
- Helping gather quilts, get them to the hanging liaison, and making sure they are returned after each show

🌟 Badge Challenge Co-Chair
We’re looking for a co-chair to work alongside Becky Tesch and help guide the overall challenge program.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with Becky to determine monthly challenges from January through September 2027
- Choosing two different ways members can show or demonstrate each skill
- Working with Challenge Specialists to help write the challenges
- Sending completed challenge descriptions to the Beeline and website coordinators for monthly publication
- Maintaining a calendar of which challenge runs each month
- Coordinating with the Badge Liaison to be sure badges are distributed to those who complete the challenges
If you enjoy organizing, planning ahead, and collaborating with others, this is a great leadership role which can be done from home.

We’re also looking for Challenge Specialists—anywhere from one to nine people, each focusing on a specific challenge.
What you’ll do:
- Help write one challenge, including background information, helpful links, and clear criteria for completion
- Work with Becky Tesch and learn how to use AI tools to make the process easier (and pick up a new skill along the way!)
- Return your completed write-up to the co-chair so it can be shared with the Utah Quilt Guild members
This is a fantastic role if feel comfortable sharing resources about a particular quilting skill. You’ll be sharing your sources with others. If you enjoy researching, writing, or teaching others this may be a great opportunity for you..

🌟 Trunk Show Exchange Coordinator
We’re looking for a Trunk Show Exchange Coordinator to help make these partnerships successful. This role works co-chair with Becky Tesch and can be done from home using email and the phone—nice and flexible!
Responsibilities include:
- Making sure every guild that wants to participate is matched with a partner (or two!)
- Offering basic guidance and suggestions on how to run a successful trunk show exchange
- Keeping a calendar of all trunk show exchanges
- Working with our website team to post exchange dates so members can attend
Good news—you won’t be starting from scratch! We already have some wonderful resources and experienced guilds who’ve done trunk show exchanges before and are happy to share ideas and best practices.
