Donations

Each year the Utah Quilt Guild supports a charity in Utah which supplies quilts to those in need, whether that need is emotional, physical or financial. All donations to this fund will be used for supplies or distribution of quilts for these charities.

All donations made to the General Fund will be used to fund the general mission of the Utah Quilt Guild which is to encourage, promote and preserve the art of QUILTMAKING. No donations will be used for salaries or compensation for any workers or volunteers.

The Utah Quilt Guild supplies scholarships to quilters learning the skills of quilting for attendance at the annual Utah Quilt Fest. The scholarships allow youth and newer quilters to learn and develop their skills through classes, lectures, trunk shows and demonstrations. They also receive a single night's stay at the sponsoring hotel and a few meals which allow them to attend from anywhere in Utah.
